When I first became a mother, the funniest question I had was âwhat if it rains?â .If Iâm caught by a drizzling shower in the middle of the park, what should I do.It may sound a little funny, but you obviously donât want the baby getting sick from unexpected rain or bad weather.
Most parents would know that the fresh air and the morning sunlight are healthy for babies.I for one had to wake up 6 in the morning to bring my son out and catch some sunrays. My doctor says that the morning heat keeps the babyâs skin from turning yellow. But to be honest, I wasnât really thinking about the medical benefits of the sun, but I was having more fun spending the time taking a stroll with my son in a baby stroller.
Thus going back to my original question, what if it rains.
I truly thank whoever was smart enough to design the baby buggy with a rain cover.Under dark clouds, you rarely want to take a stroll thinking it might rain in a few minutes.Yet, just when you think the weather is nice and sunny, it suddenly rains, and you are caught with no roof, no trellis, and no trees to cover you and your baby from the showering rain in the middle of an open field. Thus to ensure the health of your baby and yours, it is always advisable to carry a rain jacket for you and rain cover on your stroller for the baby as a precaution to a changing weather.
I am sure most parents are giving their babies daily vitamins and monthly vaccinations to safeguard their little ones from getting sick. Then carrying a simple rain cover on a baby stroller should not be forgotten or missed out before taking a stroll with your baby.An hour stroll, a walk with the dog, a jog with your little bundle of joy on a baby buggy is always a good workout, and is probably one of the memorable moments of a parentâs life.It is always good to come prepared of any unexpected circumstance even when you are having fun.
