Just latterly, a researcher claimed that one of the finest ways of learning maths is to do it in the abacus math method.

A psychologist from Stanford University said that these days language or numbers are not the sole strategies to represent mathematics. He said the abacus is also a good way to learn psychological math or psychological mathematics.

The researcher named Michael Franks declared the learning about the abacus math method at a tender age can yield a large amount of benefits to their mathematical or cognitive capabilities. After realizing that infants can't distinguish gigantic numbers anymore, Franks made a decision to establish whether languages are the only way to represent large numbers.

According to the results, the answer is no. His study shows that the abacus is a great way to teach children about maths without having to use words or numerals.

The Abacus Math Method, in the strictest sense uses the visual talents of a child. It involves plenty of visual manipulations and this imposes the familiarity of a kid with numbers.

Perhaps one of the oldest tool for counting, the abacus is still usually used in some faculties in The East. This is actually a reason explaining why plenty of students are more skillful in mathematics than those in Western states.
