Baby Room Borders And Accessories

By Darren Hartley

The selection of baby room borders is a big decision. The border has a tendency to set the tone for the surrounding space. The color, print and message of the border determine what other baby room accessories will fit into the space.

So long as parents know what nursery theme they are going after, they should not have a problem in selecting the tone-setting baby room borders that would match that theme. It is a given that comparison of available options lead to the selection of the perfect border to go well with the chosen theme.

Around the top, middle or even nearing the bottom of the room is where the baby room borders are made to go around. Wall borders would look much better with freshly painted walls on its background. A clash in the colors of the walls and the border could only spell disaster for the nursery theme so it should be made sure that their colors complement each other to a T.

Inviting, light and comfortable furniture, curtains, pillows and rugs; playful, stimulating and interesting toys; these are the sort of baby room accessories that should fill any nursery. Only when a baby is made to be engulfed by funny and adventurous accessories, is he ensured to stay happy and energetic as he goes through his early life being cooked up in his baby room.

Parents must be sparing when thinking of what furniture pieces to put in a nursery. Functionality must be the primary concern. The main bulk of baby room accessories must be in the form of toys, especially when the baby starts crawling and walking. A spacious baby room provides a baby with the necessary space to move around and play with his toys. It is for him a play zone and as such, ensures that his memories of his time in his nursery are filled with moments of fun and delight.

Large windows prove to be important baby room accessories in their provision of a sunny atmosphere to the nursery. This atmosphere can only bring joy, comfort and energy to a baby. Windows must be made to face east, south or south-east. The sunshine and natural light it brings to the baby room can only add brightness, cheerfulness and warmth to the nursery environment.
