The continuous battle for identifying who is gifted or talented plays a major role in understanding persons belonging to the gifted level. Many researchers argue that it can be through an IQ test and some others would like more than that. Distinguishing the persons who are above average than normal students is the main concern of every academic institution. Specifically about the recent study that there are only 2 percent of intellectually gifted in all student population. Excellence gaps are also evident among groups of people. Just like the total achievement gaps between majority and minority and between low income and high income people.

Parents and teachers should effectively show their love to the gifted and talented children. There should be a valued feeling and a treatment that is right for their individual academic challenge. They must feel less isolation which results to their lifestyle. The strategies below can be applied also according to experts.

First, accelerating the person. In certain subjects, student may excel very big time that some classmates will not reach it. It is better if the academe will automatically accelerate them. It may be through an advanced year level or just subjects. His capabilities of learning will be greatly enhanced by this.

Two, teacher and student matching. Conducive learning environment should be achieved when the attitude of students matches with their teachers. The thing about this is that the mentor must be able to possess the needed knowledge in handling this situation. Also, the style in teaching becomes modified to complement whatever level that the pupil has. It will certainly give good outcome.

Differentiation of a student. It means creating something that can help in exploring other capabilities. This could also entail extending the child in his or her class. Richer or more ambitious tasks contribute in providing wonderful assortment program to aid the learning ability of any person. If this will not be done, then the future challenges of the person involved will just destroy his life. He or she must be ready to whatever situations may occur.

Independent negotiated programs. Student skills and interest determine the scale and scope of their project. This is important to provide extracurricular activities that may help his or her achievement in one of their liking. Negotiate someone from a higher learning institutions to facilitate in giving resources needed in doing this.

Five, mentoring or cross age tutoring. The confidence in relating with other age groups should also be develop. Of course, they should be with people who have the same capacity as them. Exchange of knowledge through effective communication are experienced here. With the help of configuration, their cognitive process can effectively be improved.

Six, competitions for them. A list of individual games, team sports, external or internal challenges must be formulated by the teachers or guardians. This can be given to the child. The person who gave it must know the rules and regulations being implemented to such games. Their peculiar brain function needs facilitator to provide proper preparations.
