Giving Regular Support To Kenyan Orphans

By Marcie Goodman

There are many children already living without parents because bother parents died because of a tragic situation. Kenya, an East African country known for great economy and peace amongst its people also faces the same challenge of having so many kids living without parents. There are ways believers can approach this issue and help give support Kenyan Orphans, with an aim of giving them hope and helping them realize their future.

There are actually ways to give support to these children for those who are wondering how to do that. However, you must have a heart and willingness to take part in the ministry, which has the potential to change the lives of forgotten children and needy families. Below are few ideas that can help you know how you can offer your support.

Pray to God about these children, that He would give them an ability to survive through the hard times. Most of them always go to sleep wondering if there is a place in this world where they belong. Pray to God, who knows the plans He has for His children, to offer them a forever long and kind family, the kind of family that will accept them and care for them.

Take time to learn the needs of children who have no parents. Clearly understand the resources and issues revolving around adoption and orphan care. It would be wise if you took time to study the word of God to find out what it actually says about those who are fatherless. Try to recognize the practical ways through which you can help to offer direct support.

Ask your family members what they think about giving contribution to organizations that help children who have no fathers or mothers. They will most likely be for the idea and you can agree to give contributions occasionally to non-profiting organizations that take care of these children. Pray to God, however, to lead you to selecting the right organizations.

It is not always going to be easy for people to take care of children who are not their own. It rather needs constant prayer and dedication because this is work done from the heart. You have to take the chance to encourage foster families to keep taking care of the children because they are helping in the work of God, especially in the preservation of his creation.

Remember God has opened His heart and welcomed all children to Him and that includes those who have no parents. He might be calling you to do the same thing so pray to God to help you know what He wants with you especially if you have a strong passion for kids. Cultivate a culture in the church whereby the leaders and the congregation can take part in helping the fatherless and the motherless.

If you have the grace, consider adopting some Kenyan Orphans and give them the moral and life support that they need. It is obvious that not every person has a calling to adopt, but some are and are god at taking care of the children. Ask God to let you know if He is calling you to do so and make sure to follow his steps.
